Saudi EFL University Instructors’ Perceptions of Online Education During the COVID-19 Pandemic

This study aimed to investigate the EFL university instructors’ perceptions of online education during COVID-19 pandemic. The participants were 32; 87.5% them females while 12.5% males. They belonged many higher educational institutions in Saudi Arabia. Data collected using an questionnaire. questionnaire included four parts which (1) participants’ demographic information, (2) advantages pandemic, (3) disadvantages and finally (4) effectiveness results revealed that most had a more dominant positive attitude regarding learning activities although some claimed there negative aspects should be taken into consideration. Online is fundamentally characterized by its flexibility, being chargeless, enabling instructors think creatively improve their performance. However, lack regulating sinful such as cheating, face-to-face social interaction, poor accessibility internet connection essentially three significant agreed on. Based on findings obtained, this provided recommendations well suggestions for further research.
